Each of the five villas contain only one comfortable and beautifully appointed suite, with spacious living areas, air conditioning and private sundeck. Large feature windows provide views over lush vegetation inhabited by numerous birds (their names appear in the villas' names, and their songs enhance your feeling close to nature). Birds' chorus and Kerikeri River's murmuring provide a soothing and peaceful medium. Wherever possible, we have used natural materials and native timber to create the warm feeling of home for our guests.
The interiors have been designed with a view to the attractive surroundings, and we have decorated them with our numerous treasures collected in Asia, making them all individual and special. Comfortable beds with Sheridan's delightful bed linen ensure a good night's rest. Extra New Zealand pure wool blankets are provided to take off the chill of autumn mornings or when stargazing at night. Fluffy cotton robes and spa towels, as well as sterilized outdoor slippers add to your comfort.
Individually controlled air conditioning, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, radio, hair dryer, direct dial phone, internet connection with wireless broadband capability, and books in several languages add to your comfort. Fruit basket, nibbles jar, tea & coffee, and organic welcome drink are provided complimentary, as well as organic tooth paste and shampoos.

Some simple rules in our New Zealand Eco Lodge enable us to maintain the organic status and the wellbeing of all guests: No smoking (the buildings are all made from wood, and there are loud smoke alarms!); recycling of paper, bottles, and organic waste; organic shampoos, soaps and detergents without sodium lauryl sulphates (the foaming stuff), no fabric softeners. The complimentary guest laundry at our New Zealand Eco Lodge provides environment friendly washing powders. There is a washing machine, a dryer, an ironing board with iron, and a clothes rail for drying garments that should not go into the dryer.
Our organic gourmet kitchen offers meals for all tastes and appetites for our guests. Thus, the villas are not equipped for cooking. Alternatively you can go into the Kerikeri village (3.5 km) for more choice.
We suggest that you try to enjoy the various nature sounds and the stars at night in our New Zealand Eco Lodge instead of watching TV, although TV sets are provided in case you are addicted to bad news.
